**September was full of busy days and quiet mornings. As summer said goodbye and autumn slowly woke up, I decided this would be the month I become a morning person and use the early hours to think.**

Evenings and daytime work blocks were mostly filled with ambient and dub techno. Early mornings, however, with the last summer light fading, asked for something softer. One of those mornings, I was reminded of *Twin Peaks* and started looking for a dreamy sound that sits somewhere between *Twin Peaks*, *Beach House* and *James K*. That became most of my listening in September.

## Playlists

- [***Dreamcore***](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3a1QH3AVvLXrJqzqhdiKxJ?si=eab5a5056ead4c0f&ref=wlxpvn.com)*is new and* *collects that soft, reverb-filled morning sound (although it still needs some refinement).*

## Venice Biennale Musica 2025

- In October I am traveling to the closing of the Venice Biennale Musica, curated by Caterina Barbieri. The festival explores “cosmic music,” not as a single genre or tradition, but as the generative power of music to create new worlds. I am really looking forward to installations by Meredith Monk and Maxime Denuc, and live performances by Sunn O))), FUJI|||||||||||TA, ecco2k and others.
